Hey she's so much like me
those of us who have read the works of Jhumpa Lahiri, will agree to have gone through an experience worth mentioning.The characters and situations are so close to real life.Using middle class sentiments as base she throws you off balance.You are bound to find characters n say 'O she is so much like me'. if you happen to be a bengali then the reading experience will turn out far more exciting. I recently happen to read Un accoustomed Earth and was completly amazed at her power as a writer. Friends its a must read for all of us.

Well i've read her Namesake and believe me she's awesome...u are able 2 connect urself so easily wid her thoughts..simple and meaningful..dats wat her books are all abt...
Ya, this book is really well written. She lost her in-laws while writing this book and her emotions really come out thru her characters. I love the one (forgot the name) where the girl loses her mother and her father comes to stay with her for a while. Her emotions at that point are something which we can so easily connect to. Though I must say her first book still remains a personal favourite...!
No two ways when it comes to Jhumpa Lahiri and her writing.
she is so sexy,sassy,compellingly attractive just like her writing!!!
